Answered Prayers

The world today is very chaotic, there is no safe place anymore.  Crimes just happen everywhere even in your own territory - in the comfort of your own home...God's people are taught to find peace in His nourishment.  We seek comfort on His side. We ask His elp.  We do that in praying. Here is how we should pray as the Holy Bible teaches.

Prayer Lay-out (in order)

1. Praise Him - God our Father.

2. Thank Him for the blessings (everything we are thankful of) - the family, the life, the material things etc.

3. Say your wishes.
Be sure it is not against His words.

4. Ask for forgiveness.

We must be sincere on asking forgiveness, that we do not intend to repeat our mistakes and wrongdoings.

5. Ask everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (being our ONLY mediator to God).

Before ending our prayers we MUST ask this all in the name of our Lord, savior, and mediator Jesus Christ.

Based on:
Matthew 6:9-13 NKJV (New King James Version)
9In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 11Give us this day our daily bread. 12And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. 13And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Please NOTE that what is said above is in this manner and not we should pray that same thing/prayer again and again..how can we ask for our wishes, how can we talk to Him personally if we just memorize a prayer and it is not suited to our needs and situation? There is no more trace of sincerity at all, a memorized prayer has just become an ordinary thing, like a habit that you just have to do without your heart on it..

And Why Do We Need to Close Our Eyes When Praying?

We see many things around us when our eyes are opened, then we LOSE concentration.

Why Some Prayers Seemed Unanswered?

- He has not answered yet, He will give it on His time. The time that He thinks it is best  for you.

- Our faith is on TEST.  Whether you will remain steadfast in faith even your wishes are not fulfilled.

- We sometimes LACK faith although we do not admit it. We did not believe that what we have asked for is already GIVEN or RECEIVED  by us, that is how our faith should be.

- Other wishes will be harmful to us even we thought it to be the best thing for us.

- Most importantly, we did not lived by the rules.
We do bad things that an abiding Christian is not supposed to do.  We did not obey God's wishes.  Even a parent to his child, the same thing is expected. Unhappy parents will not be generous to fulfill the wishes of a disobedient child.
