Teachers' Day Thoughts and Helpful Ideas

We are celebrating the Teachers' Month (Sept. 5  - Oct 5).  Have you ever recognize what your teachers have shared with you?

The teachers are generous enough to impart their knowledge to their students.Teachers who did not really treat their profession as one but a duty and  mission to fulfill - a mission to take part in the creation of SOMEBODY out of a nobody.

Thanks to the teachers who never get tired of explaining, writing and making visual aids  just to make us understand every lesson, to those who are making school time not so very serious but a fun time to look forward to the next days to come. Injecting humor in a good way to help us remember more what we have studied today plus making the experience of learning joyful.  Thanks for not stopping to learn - for updating your knowledge (seminars etc.) and skills and inventing ways on how to make our learning enjoyable.

As they say, teaching creates all other professions, name it whatever job it is and however noble and high ranking a job can be - they never skipped a TEACHER, even the President of our country!

If Madam Teacher is sometimes getting angry, be happy - that shows concern. When your professor does not mind you and never even know you exist as well as condoning your wrongdoings, he does not care about you. Appreciate our teachers, their jobs are extended at home  not like office workers who are resting after office hours - at home, they are making lesson plans, computing grades, preparing exams etc.  Another quote above says 'What I learned today does not make yesterday wrong, it just makes tomorrow better' -yes, we may have some knowledge of our own before that we thought useful but additional knowledge from someone else who is expert on the field makes us more proficient. Again, appreciate our teachers - appreciate their eagerness to share what they know, appreciate their efforts to guide us the best way they can.  If you can not buy them a Greeting Card, make one for them - be creative and resourceful, used available materials around..

Not just students but if you are a  parent and a PTA  President, or a student class President you must have thought of  a 'Teachers' Appreciation Day' program - sing for them, recite poem for them, give them flowers or personalized medals for their hard work, encourage everybody to make them feel they are deeply appreciated and loved even just for a a day of celebration. We still have around three weeks before the Teachers' Month to expire...an ample time to greet them.

Have a great day!
