Aldub Mania

May epidemyang kumakalat ngayon sa Pilipinas, ito ay kakaibang sakit. Ang dulot nito ay kilig at saya bata man o matanda, maging babae man o lalake at inspirasyon sa bawat umiibig. Sabi nila sinakop na daw tayo ng ALDub Nation…kahit ako nga na may-asawa at nanay na ay naaadik  sa pagsubaybay sa bawat eksena araw-araw. Gusto ko talaga iyong comedy na dala nila.

(There is an epidemic spreading here in the Philippines, it is a unique ailment. It brings happiness to everyone, young or old. It seems like we had been colonized by AlDub Nation – “Al” came from Alden Richards’ name and “Dub” came from Yaya Dub’s. Even I am a married now and a mother I was also smitten by their charm. Their funny side makes me laugh.)

AlDub  "kidnap scene" on a separate location....'Eat Bulaga' noontime show

Hindi inaasahan mismo nina Yaya Dub at Alden maging ng staff ng ‘Eat Bulaga’ ang paglitaw ng kinakikiligang trending na love team. Si Wally Bayola bilang Lola Nidora na kilala sa kanyang mataas at makapal na kilay at namamaypay na kinakausap lamang si Yaya Dub kapag hihingi ng gamot.





Hindi gaya ng ibang bida sa pelikula o teleserye, nagsasalita lamang si Yaya Dub sa pamamagitan ng pagkanta sa ilang linya ng mga awitin na pinatutugtog ng DJ sa studio. Walang boses pero as if siya talaga nagsasabi nung lyrics kasi may emosyon sa mukha habang nag-li-lip synch siya, nakakatangay talaga at mapapatawa ka sa facial expressions niya kasi sadyang nilalakihan niya ang buka ng bibig at mata niya. Para nga siyang babaeng Mr. Bean, kasama ang props niyang apron.

(Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza a.k.a. Yaya Dub and even “Eat Bulaga” never expected the emergence of this trending love team. It is just Wally Bayola playing grandmom with her popular thick eyebrows fanning while asking her nanny –Yaya Dub to give her medicines.  Unlike other characters in a movie or series, yaya Dub talks through dubbing a song played in the background – she talks thru singing. No voice heard at all like a lip synch. She adds color to the usual lip synch by opening her mouth exaggeratedly – widely and her eyes speaks what she wants to say too. You can treat her like the female counterpart  of Mr. Bean just with the apron props. Yaya is nanny in English for my foreign readers.)

Sa kalye-seryeng ito ka lamang makakakita ng mag-ka-love team na may eksena yung isa in reality at yun namang isa sa kanila nasa tv screen. Doon lamang nila nahahalikan ang isa’t-isa. Kapag may gift si Alden (na nasa GMA 7 studio) kay Yaya Dub na nasa Barangay – may abutang nagyayari hehe sa harap ng camera nila Yaya Dub may lumilitaw na kamay para makuha niya agad yung gift ni Alden. As if it is comically magic.

(Only in this street series you can find a love team where the scene is one of the couple in reality and the other is on the screen, they literally kiss each other that way –the other is getting near the tv screen, funny isn’t it?! And when Alden gives something [he is in GMA studio] a hand in front of the camera gives it to the nanny in another location –Barangay where ‘Eat Bulaga’ visited for ‘Juan for All, All for Juan’ –Bayanihan of the People. Comically magic.)

Nagsimula lang ang lahat ng ma-focusan ng camera si Alden na mukhang nabighani sa maganda at nakatutuwang pag-du-dubsmash ni Yaya Dub. Siyempre kinilig si Yaya Dub at nagsimula na ang mga ngitian, waving, at naging mga mensaheng sulat hanggang sa mga kiss sa literal na tv screen ng isa sa kanila in reality. Lola Nidora spiced-up the love team kasi siya ang pahirap sa dalawang nagmamahalan. Kilig talaga ang mga fans at isa na nga po ang inyong lingkod.

(It all started when the camera is focused on Alden’s face seemed liked taken by the funny but pretty look of Maine (Yaya Dub), then seeing Alden’s reaction on cam while she is out there, she pretends to love the attention and smiling back with a shy wave. Then they became the focus of the camera daily, even the script is directed towards them, there comes the message writing etc., the kissing and pabebe waves.)

(AlDub Fever gave birth to AlDubclopedia  - this phenomenally popular love team has pushed their  followers to invent words with their initials within).

Sa sobrang in-na-in ng AlDub Fever maraming bagong salita ang bukambibig nagayon ng mga Pilipino. Balita ko nga pag may in-announce sila malaki event  about the kalye-serye naku nilalangaw daw po ang mga parlor at iba pang establishments nawawala ang mga patrons, ano pa nga bang dahilan kundi lahat nakatutok sa telebisyon.
